The circuit
Opened in 2011 in the Marzaglia district, the Modena race track gave the city a permanent circuit again after the historic Aerautodromo was decommissioned in the 1960s. The 2,068 m track, with 11 corners, several changes of gradient and a straight of about 400 m, is homologated by ACI Sport and FMI and hosts tests by car and motorcycle manufacturers, motorcycle open practice, safe driving courses and the Ducati Riding Academy. In 2022 an extension was approved that would bring the length to 4,150 m.
