The circuit
A race track in the Piano dell'Occhio area of Torretta, about twenty kilometres from Palermo, named after Vincenzo Florio. The current track is about 2,100-2,400 metres long, 14-18 metres wide, with 14 corners (9 right and 5 left), a 720 metre straight and elevation changes; an extension to 5 km is planned. Work began in 2003 and the circuit is used for car and motorcycle open practice and races, CIV team tests and track days with timed sessions.
