The circuit
The Erzgebirgsring in Lichtenberg (Mittelsachsen) opened in 2000 as a motocross track and was converted in 2008 into a supermoto track with asphalt sections also used by karts. The track is 1,100 m long and 8 m wide, with banked turns and jump hills. It is run by Erzgebirgsring Lichtenberg mbH; besides rental karts there are riding times for supermoto, minibike, pit bike and touring motorcycles (registration required, 96 dB limit), plus camping and a snack bar.
