The circuit

Clay Pigeon Raceway is an 815 m outdoor kart circuit on the A37 between Dorchester and Yeovil in Dorset, opened in 1963 and known as an early track of Jenson Button and Lando Norris. It runs owner-driver practice most days, hire karts, Clay Pigeon Kart Club race meetings, endurance series and a pit bike series with its own calendar. In July 2026 Dorset Council approved plans to replace the circuit with holiday lodges; the operator says it will close in 2026 or 2027.
