The circuit
The Erftlandring in Kerpen-Manheim is a 1,107 m long, 7 m wide kart track with 11 turns in a former gravel pit, opened in 1980 and venue of the 1981 European Kart Championship. It is leased by Kart-Club Kerpen e.V. im ADAC; Michael Schumacher learned karting here. The site includes a kart school, restaurant, campsite and a separate rental kart track (Raceworld Kerpen).
