The circuit
Built in 1993 by Giuseppe Sorrentino on the slopes of Vesuvius, the Circuito Internazionale Napoli in Sarno is one of the most important kart tracks in Europe and the permanent home of WSK and the CIK-FIA world and European championships. The kart track, lengthened in 2021 to 1,670 m, is flanked by a 1,900 m race track variant and a 200,000 m² complex with a paddock, grandstands seating 5,000, a hotel and a restaurant.
